George Binns died from wounds on 6th March, 1918, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 13th Royal Fusiliers battalion was part of 111 Brigade, 37th Division, that, on 4th March, 1918, had moved into the front line astride the Menin Road in the Ypres salient.
